Medicare cards are issued on paper - or emailed for you to print at home yourself on plain printer paper. Many people laminate the plain paper which works great, but is a very temporary solution. After some time, the lamination will start to peel at the corners, separate at the edges and get cloudy, especially if it gets in contact with any kind of water.

Our cards are not laminated paper, these are plastic (PVC) credit card blanks. Your card image is thermally embedded into the plastic and will not wear off, peel, or separate at any time even if submerged in water. These remain clear and sharp and are much easier to read compared to worn out paper or lamination.

Yes! As long as we can read the information we can make your new card with no problem. The card you receive will look identical to the sample photo on the order page (obviously with your information on it).

Lamination is a process where a standard piece of paper is 'sandwiched' between a thin sheet of plastic, then heated up and stuck to the paper. Lamination is great for a while, however it does not last very long until the corners start to peel and the plastic gets scratched and cloudy.

Our process is very different as it involves no paper and no lamination. Our cards will never peel, separate, fade or get scratched. These are printed in the same fashion as your standard credit card (just without the strip or chip).

Absolutely, yes. Since our cards will not get cloudy like lamination does, and they will not scratch, rip or tear like standard paper does, your plastic card will stay crisp and clear for you to easily read.

Yes. Cyber security is something we take very seriously therefore we have several protection redundancies in place.

The uploads are protected though shopify servers with end to end TLS encryption which is an updated and more secure version of the typical SSL encryption. This prevents any unauthorized access to the data in transit.

Once printing is completed, all files are digitally shredded using dedicated file destroying software with the US Department of Defense, DoD 5220.22-M (3 passes) algorithm and total verification.

Our computers themselves are behind a series of internal and external firewalls.

The printers themselves are not networked in any way, only locally connected.

We also have anti-spoofing email protections in place and several other security measures (intentionally vague).

Unfortunately we can not legally make any changes to the cards issued to you from medicare. Any changes must go through their system. We can only print the cards exactly as issued to you by medicare.
